Kinetic Type.

Design Challenge: To animate type from an audio clip of people speaking.

Design Approach: I chose a short scene from The Office, a popular TV show. I challenged myself by having three speakers involved in the animation. This was a challenge because I needed to be able to visually separate the characters so viewers would know who was speaking, especially when characters talked over each other. I used type treatment and color assignments to help me achieve this. I used small but effective animations to help push the story and show the emotions of the characters, which elevated the script.
